Multicharged ion trapsport in the T-10 tokamak plasma

Experimental study of characteristics of transport of multicharm ions of the injected argon and plasma mixtures (oxygen and carbon) in a discharge with a low value of stability reserve coefficient q=2 has been undertaken+ and applicability of the model developed in the experiments using the T-4 device to describe ion transport under conditions of a T-10 device discharge is considered. In spectral measurements two main instruments are used. An X-ray monochromator (XM) and Si(Li) semiconductor detector (SCD). The monochromator permitted to record radiation in the quantum energy range E=0.5-5 keV with the energy resolution ΔE/E=2x10-2-10-3, time resolution 20-40 ms and resolution over the filament space < or approximately 2.8. The SCD similar characteristics were: E=2-10 keV ΔE approximately 200 eV (at E=5.9 keV), 300 ms and 0.8 cm, respectively. Both absolutely calibrated systems (XM in the range 2-5 keV) scanned the radiation from a plasma along the horizontal chords of observation by the method ''from point to point''. It is shown that the observed transport can not be described in the framework of the existing neoclassical theory. Introduction of additional anomalous flows permits to coordinate the calculation results with the experimental ones. For admixtures with a high Z an increase of the drift component of an anomalous flow is pointed out
