Description
Studies of the fp-shell nuclei at or near the neutron shell closure with N=28 are of special interest since these nuclei are ideal for description in the framework of the shell model and other interesting phenomena exhibited at higher excitation like hyperdeformation and shape coexistence. The excited states of these nuclei have been interpreted in terms of shell model configurations
