Description
Energy levels of the single excited 1s22s2ns (2S), 1s22s2np (2P), 1s22s2nd (2D) and 1s22s2nf (2F), n = 3-8 states for the boron isoelectronic sequence are calculated using the simple configuration Hartree-Fock method. Good agreement is obtained between our results and previous experimental and theoretical data. The study of the boron isoelectronic sequence helps in interpreting the properties of the solar corona and other astrophysical objects. (author)
