Description
The author presents a procedure for direct quantitative analysis of bonded xenon in advanced fuel by EPMA. The quality of the data obtained with the method is illustrated by a radial xenon concentration profile from a section of mixed carbonitride fuel. The main features of this profile and the principal sources of error in the measured concentrations are briefly described. (Auth.)
