Evaluation of fatigue strength in heat resisting materials by microhardness measurements
Description
Results are given for a microchardness study in specimens of heat-resistant EhI698VD and EhI867 alloys under high-temperature repeated loading. Accumulation of fatigue damage in a surface metal layer is shown to be different in two homologous temperature ranges. The main regularities in strengthening the metal surface layer depending on loading parameters are revealed
