Description
A presentation is given of the ''European Study Group on Physical and Chemical Techniques in Archaeology'', known as PACT. Its objectives are a) to act as a channel of information to archaeologists, b) to provide means of liaison between physicists, chemists and archaeologists, and c) to promote the use of science and the development of scientific methods in archaeology.
