Practical design and manufacture of powerful current leads
Description
The design technique and manufacturing technology of powerful current leads with a specific heat leak of 1 W/kA in the force-cooled mode are described. The principles of selection of the current-carrying element material, geometric sizes and their influence of the heat leak by the current leads are expounded. Different modes of cooling of the current leads are considered. A comparative analysis of the existing designs of current leads is carried out. (author)
