A simplified solution of the benchmark problem of fuel burnup and isotopic composition in WWER-440 spent fuel
Description
Paper describes a simplified solution of the benchmark of isotopic composition in spent fuel of WWER-440 fuel assembly, which compares experimentally determined and by spectral code calculated values. Simplification is given by the fact that instead of calculated burnup, an experimental burnup is taken in comparisons, it means that there are no differences in burnups but only in isotopic compositions, because burnups are not determined from core calculation. A comparison of isotopic concentration in different pin position is provided. An influence of different burnup conditions on isotopic composition are also evaluated, because burnup of FA is not performed by core values of technological parameters (and/or surrounding FA).
