System of medical-sanitary provision was described fro groups taking part in the Chernobyl' emergency response and for human population exposed to radiation. List of regulation and methodical documents adopted for the improvement in medical-sanitary provision was presented. NPP emergency plans on the protection of personnel and human population were revised. Readiness of medical-sanitary services for actions under emergency conditions was ascertained
