Deep-inelastic response of liquid 3He

Description

We present results for the deep-inelastic response of liquid 3He. Different 3He wave functions, providing either a discontinuous or a continuous momentum distribution, are considered. Final state interactions are accounted for by a Monte Carlo sampling of the scattering wave function of the recoiling atom. Comparison with recent neutron-scattering experimental data is discussed.
