Quality assurance and irradiation studies on CMS silicon strip sensors
Description
In this thesis the study of the behaviour of the Si strip detectors for the CMS detector at the LHC after the expected irradiation is described. For this these sensors are irradiated by 26 MeV protons, and their radiation hardness is studied. Especially the depletion voltages anf the leakage currents are considered. On two sensors the annealing behaviour of all important sensor parameters after irradiation was determined. (HSI)
