Extractive metalurgical pilot plant. Project and installation

Description
An extractive metalurgical pilot plant with a flow capacity of 200l/h of phosphoric leach, recovering 80% of the uranium content has been designed and installed. Starting from the diagrams of the chemical process in the laboratory scale, the equipment worksheet of the basic project were developed. The procedure for dimensioning and positioning of each component is described. An isometric figure and the pilot plant lay-out are included. The pilot plant occupying 41 m2 has been tested and operates at its nominal capacity. (author)

Foi projetada e instalada uma fabrica-piloto de hidrometalurgia extrativa com capacidade para processar 200l/h de lixivia fosforica, recuperando 80% do uranio contido. A partir do diagrama do processo em escala de laboratorio, foi desenvolvido o fluxograma de equipamento do projeto basico. No detalhamento e descrito o procedimento de dimensionamento e posicionamento de cada componente com plantas e desenhos, sendo apresentado uma o lay-out e uma folha com desenho isometrico e planta de um trecho das tubulacoes da piloto. A fabrica foi instalada numa area de41m2, ensaiada e operada com capacidade nominal. (autor)Additional details
