A seismic analysis of pulsed reactor core structure
- 1. China Nuclear Power Inst., Chengdu, SC (china)
Description
The pulsed reactor core structure is similar to a cylindrical rigid body, and it is supported by an aluminum cylinder. According to the structural property, the seismic response is calculated by rigid model and finite elements model, and the results of the two models are compared. The dynamic characters (natural frequencies and critical damping ratio) are also given by experimental research. It is shown that the analytical results are reliable and the rigid model is a feasible method for the pulsed reactor core structure-like. At last the safety is evaluated for important components
