Study on phi-meson resonance on the colliding electron-positron beams

Description

Measurement of the phi-meson resonance excitation curve from the main three channels of decay: e+e- → phi → k+k-; e+e- → phi → ksub(s)sup(0)Ksub(α)sup(0); e+e- → phi → π+π-π0 is conducted at the VEPP-2 collider facility. The resonance parameters: width, total cross section and relative probabilities of decay channels are obtained: CITA=(4.67+-0.42) MeV - B(K+K-)=(54.0+-3.4)%; σ0=(3.96+-0.35) μb - B(Ksub(S)sup(0)Ksub(L)sup(0))=(25.7+-3.0)%; B(e+e-)=(2.81+-0.25)x10-4 - B(π+π-π0)=(20.3+-4.2)%. The form factor fo π-meson pair production at an energy of 2E=1020 MeV and the top boundary of relative probability of the corresponding mode of phi-meson decay are determined to be |Fsub(π|sup(2)=2.9+-1.2 B(π+π-) < 0.8%
