Clinical significance of the changes of serum IL-2, SOD and plasma ET-1 levels after treatment in patients with coronary heart diseases
Description
Objective: To study the changes of serum IL-2, SOD and plasma ET-1 levels after treatment in patients with coronary heart diseases. Methods: Serum IL-2, SOD and plasma ET-1 levels were detected with RIA in 65 patients with coronary heart diseases (30SAP, 22UAP, 13AMI) and 35 controls. Results: Before treatment,serum IL-2, SOD levels in CHD patients were significantly lower than those in controls (P<0.01), while the plasma ET-1 levels in CHD patients were significantly higher than those in controls (P<0.01). After treatment for 3 months, those variables were about the same as in controls (P>0.05). Conclusion: The serum IL-2, SOD and plasma ET-1 levels were well correlated to the development of CHD.
