Description

In this work we derive the dipolar auto-correlation function (DACF) and subsequently the intensity of Ly-α radiation in the plasmas in presence of an electric field adiabatically oscillating. We show that in addition to the Stark splitting, new line splitting is observed when the adiabatic approximation (AA) is used. This corresponds to the apparition of satellites similar to those of Blochinzew's in the line shapes. The validity of this approximation is discussed with respect to different plasma conditions as the density and the oscillating frequency of the electric field.
