Measurement of the inclusive one-jet and two-jet cross-sections in two-photon interactions at √s=91 GeV
Description
The production of hadronic jets from interactions between two virtual photons is studied and compared to theoretical predictions. A new jet clustering method based on a cone algorithm is used. The momentum dependence of inclusive one-jet and two-jet cross-sections is presented. This analysis is based on 4916 two-photon interactions at √s = 91 GeV recorded by the ALEPH detector during the 1994 run period of the LEP e+e- collider, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 44.6pb-1.
