Dynamics of myelocaryocytes upon protracted repeated γ-irradiation
Creators
Description
No changes in the number of myelocaryocytes in the whole sceleton of Wistar rats have been detected in the course of eight months of continuous irradiation with 25 R/day, whereas the dose of 50 R/day has caused a decrease in the number of caryocytes during the very first days of exposure. The dynamics of the bone marrow cells in the femur reflects the changes in their number in the whole skeleton (the coefficient of the correction being regarded)
