Description
The tangential component of the friction tensor appearing in a two-dimensional classical description of deep inelastic heavy-ion collisions is modified to account for a sticking limit for the dissipated orbital angular momentum. The influence of this modification on the reaction dynamics in the 86Kr(515 MeV) + 166Er reaction is investigated. (author)
