Review of the physics and technology of charged particle detectors
Description
The physics of the interactions of charged particles with matter by ionization is reviewed in the context of charged particle detectors. Gaseous and solid state media are considered. Particle identification and tract reconstruction are described and limitations on resolution are discussed
