Dosimetric methods: evolution, novelties

Description

The development of dosimetry the last five years is reviewed. First, inert dosemeters are considered: calorimeter, chemical dosemeter, for absolute measurements of doses, solid track detectors and solid detectors for relative measurements. Then, electronic dosemeters are studied: detectors for dose rate measurements, but limited to ionization chambers (filled with gaz or liquid), semi-conductors and micro-dosemeters. At least, novelties are presented for data extraction (thermocurrent, holographic interferometers) or in dosimetry (lyoluminescence, space charge measurements, transition radiation, Moessbauer effect

Abstract (French)

On a etudie l'evolution de la dosimetrie depuis cinq annees environ. On considere d'abord les dosimetres inertes, a savoir le calorimetre et les dosimetres chimiques, pour les mesures absolues de doses, les detecteurs solides de traces et les dosimetres solides pour les mesures relatives. On etudie ensuite les dosimetres electroniques, c'est-a-dire capables de mesurer des debits de dose, en se limitant aux chambres d'ionisation (a remplissage gazeux ou liquide) aux semi conducteurs et aux microdosimetres. Enfin on presente un certain nombre de nouveautes concernant l'extraction des donnees (thermocourants, interferometres holographiques) ou de nouveaux procedes de dosimetrie (lyoluminescence, mesures de charges d'espace, rayonnements de transition, effet Moessbauer)
