Description
Analytical approximation formulas for tau and theta, valid for any exponentially screened Coulomb potential, are written down in terms of elementary functions. Comparison with exact numerical results for the 'universal' potential shows an agreement within +- 3% for theta and +- 2% for tau over a wide range of energies and impact parameters. (author)
