Asymptotic properties of the oscillator poly spheroidal functions

Description

Asymptotics of the oscillator poly spheroidal eigenfunctions and their eigenvalues as p → 0 and p → ∞ are obtained. They generate corresponding asymptotics of the Coulomb spheroidal and wave poly spheroidal functions and are reduced to these for special parameters. (author). 4 refs
