Optimization of scintillator thickness for weak pulsed photon fluxes
Creators
Description
A method for calculation of optimum scintillator thickness for detection of pulsed gamma fluxes is described. Good agreement between experimental and calculation data is shown. Optimum thickness of an Nal(T1) crystal 80 mm in diameter are given for photons with energies of 0.06-10 MeV. 3 refs., 1 fig., 3 tabs
