Follow up of onshore wind farms impact on bat populations. 2016 update of the SFEPM recommendations, Version 2.1 (February 2016)
Description
The aim of this document is to propose a methodological framework for the follow up of onshore wind farms impact on bat populations. Using this methodology, wind farms operators would be in a position to really measure the impact of their facilities and to implement impact abatement measures. The document describes: the goals of impact follow up, impact on the ecological function of the site, mortality impact (sampling, corrections), mortality abatement measures, mortality impact on population preservation
