Twenty years from stopping mining work at Jachymov uranium ore deposit
Description
In 1962, most ore veins were exhausted and surveying and mining work was stopped. A brief history of the Jachymov mines and a brief geological characteristic of the deposit are given and some tools and equipment used for mining are discussed. The individual shafts and major ore nodes and veins are listed. (M.D.)
