Josephson currents in the SNS junction with a strong-coupling normal metal
Description
The Josephson effect in SNS junctions with a strong-coupling normal metal layer N is discussed in the framework of Galilean invariance. The effects of electron-phonon coupling on the 'de-Gennes-Saint-James' bound states and hence on the Josephson current density is estimated in an example using the finite temperature strong-coupling, quasiclassical theory.
