Description
The previously developed two-potential approach for electron-molecule scattering is applied to the scattering of electrons by the hydrogen molecule. Differential cross sections for both elastic collisions and vibrational excitation are calculated at electron impact energies of 50-700 eV. Comparisons with the available experimental data are made.
