Description
The EL-2 reactor crystal spectrometer was used to measure the total cross-sections of rare gases as a function of neutron energy. in a range between about 10-3 eV and about 10-2 eV. For such elements the law of total cross-section variation observed can easily be interpreted and permits the determination of absorption and scattering cross-sections. The accuracy of the procedure is discussed and the results obtained are submitted. (authors)

(auteurs)Files
