Description

The nuclear power systems of enhanced power and resource use zirconium hydride having a composition ZrH(1.85-1.92) as a moderator material. The products (disk with openings) work over a temperature range of (460-630) C and neutron flux of about 2.10 exp 21 n/sq cm. A reduction of hydrogen loss to a permissible level is reached due to special protective coatings applied to the moderator disks and power unit vessel as well as by means of a number constructive decisions. Specific attention is paid to the conditions of sustaining these coatings' operability
