Data-to-data relations between elastic and inelastic scattering in nuclear rainbow region of angles

Description
The problem of validity of the data-to-data relations between elastic and inelastic scattering cross sections for different nuclei (12 C, 6 Li and 3 He) on 12 C is discussed. It is shown that inelastic scattering cross sections, under certain approximations, can be re-expressed in terms of the elastic scattering cross section. 18 refs., 8 figs., 3 tabs
