Description
CdIn2Se4 crystals have been prepared by means of chemical transport reactions using iodine as a transport agent. The reflectance of CdIn2Se4 has been measured at room temperature and at liquid-nitrogen temperature in the range 1.5--20 eV using synchrotron radiation. Optical constants have been determined by means of Kramers-Kronig analysis. Comparison of experimental results with existing band structure calculations has been made, and some of the observed transitions and their localization in the Brillouin zone are discussed
