Pressure wave propagation through the WWER 440/213 feedwater pipeline during a water shock
Description
The propagation of pressure waves due to the collapse of an air bubble in the main feedwater header was calculated in order to determine the stress response of the feedwater pipeline of the Dukovany 1 reactor unit in the longitudinal segment at the +14.7 m level. The pressure pulse was described by the Zhukovskij equation, the wave equation was solved by using the Laplace transformation. 4 figs., 4 refs
