Schroedinger-like equations for the nonadiabatic escape of charged particles

Description
The Schrödinger-like equations for the nonadiabatic escape of charged particles from magnetic mirror traps are derived starting from the integral equation for the evolution of the quantum mechanical wavefunction for the problem. A connection is thus established between the wavefunction of quantum mechanics and the wavefunction describing the nonadiabatic behavior. At the same time, the derivation of these equations given here justifies the ansatz used in an earlier derivation.
