Plasma density distribution in the equatorial plane of the transitional layer and near the dayside magnetopause

Description
Results of numerical solution of equations of motion of transition layer particles in midday meridian plane are presented. It was revealed, that distribution of particle density in the equatorial plane of transition layer and near the dayside magnetopause depended on solar wind temperature, time of movement of magnetic tube of force through transition layer and on the model of magnetic field in transition layer. 18 refs., 4 figs
