Calculation of transient process in a container for evacuation of spent fuel elements
Description
A method for calculation of non-stationary heat processes in a container for evacuation of fuel elements considering the container as a body with complex geometry and with internal sources of heat released from the fuel elements and produced by gamma-ray absorption is developed. The task has been solved by the method of finite differences. The computer program makes it possible to evaluate the temperature level of container's members for various climatic conditions and methods of transportation
