Microscopic reasons for brittleness of high-chromium steels
Description
It is shown that Moessbauer spectroscopy is a well-suited tool for the quantitative analysis of the σ-phase and the Cr-rich (α') phase the presence of which is the main reason for brittleness in high-Cr steel. (orig.)
