Effective energy to replace nuclear power
Creators
Description
The basis of the book is that the Swedish energy system will experience great transformations on to the year 2010. Nuclear power will come to an end by then. The aim is to analyse the existing chances to changing the energy system. Different future alternatives are presented. The energy consumption in 2010 is assumed to amount to between 200 and 300 TWh which necessitates use of efficient technique. Electric heating should be replaced by other heating methods and indigenous fuels and wind power are to be introduced. Action and research will stimulate energy conservation and there will be no need of increased use of coal and hydroelectric power. (G.B.)
