Description

The Dutch environmental organization 'Natuur en Milieu' (Nature and the Environment) proposes new taxes to protect and improve the environment by means of innovative means. The proposals can be subdivided over (1) taxes from which both the environment and the Dutch National Treasury will profit; (2) taxes that support the environment and are neutral for the treasury; and (3) stimulation of greening of taxes in a European context

Natuur en Milieu vindt de tijd rijp voor nieuwe stappen in het fiscaal belasten van wat we niet willen - vervuiling en overmatig gebruik van natuurlijke hulpbronnen - in plaats van wat we wel willen - werk en inkomen. Deze brochure toont welke stappen dat kunnen zijn: (1) belastingen die goed zijn voor het milieu en voor de schatkist; (2) belastingdifferentiaties die het milieu helpen en voor de schatkist neutraal uitpakken; en (3) stimuleren van belastingvergroening in Europees verband
