Radiation burden during CT examination
Description
Radiation burden in CT examination is increasingly being discussed with the growing number of CT instruments. The specificities of measurement and determination of doses both on the surface and in the depth of the examined object are discussed emphasising the differences between CT and conventional X-ray methods. The maximum and minimum skin doses are shown and certain possibilities are presented of optimizing examination methods of various tissues
