The design and use of the Ag/AgCl electrode for the electrochemical experiments at high temperatures
Description
The layout of the silver-silver chloride electrode which has been designed for corrosion tests at temperatures up to 300 degC and pressures up to 15 MPa as well as its installation is described, and the results of its operability and reliability tests are reported. Currently the electrode contains PTFE, due to which it is not suited to use in the research reactor, but replacement of this plastic by a ceramic material is planned. (P.A.). 3 figs
