Some remarks on quantum mechanics and relativity

A ''model theory'' is proposed, in which standard one-particle Q.M. is represented in phase space; position and momentum operators become standard covariant derivatives whose commutation rules define the curvature tensor, the metric can be computed in many ways, normalization over all phase space yields consistent results. If the connection is taken real, this model gives the formal equations of relativity; if skew-hermitian, of quantum mechanics. (author)
