Nova frequency conversion system

Description
Frequency conversion of ND:glass lasers by harmonic generation is routinely used for generating intense visible and ultraviolet light. This article describes plans for implementation of harmonic generation on the Nova laser. The basic concept, scaling to large aperture and integration with the alignment and diagnostic systems are discussed. In addition, the multi-wavelength target focusing system is described
