Description
After a general introduction and definition of the basic terms, the quantity of radionuclides of natural and artificial origin in our environment is shown. The specific activity of Cs-134 and Cs-137 in fruit and vegetables before and after the accident in Chernobyl is demonstrated. Finally, the quantity of the radioactivity consumed by the human being with fruit and vegetable is compared with the values of the total food consumption. (orig./HP)
Abstract (German)
Nach einer allgemeinen Einfuehrung und Definition der Grundbegriffe wird der Gehalt an Radionukliden natuerlichen und kuenstlichen Ursprungs in unserer Umwelt aufgezeigt. Die spezifische Aktivitaet von Cs-134 und Cs-137 in Obst und Gemuese vor und nach Tschernobyl wird dargestellt. Abschliessend erfolgt ein Vergleich der dem Menschen zugefuehrten Radioaktivitaetsmenge durch Obst und Gemuese mit den Werten der Gesamtnahrungsaufnahme. (orig./HP)Additional details
