Description
A three-nucleon potential is calculated from a Dirac nucleon dynamical model which includes scalar and vector meson exchange. While improving the saturation properties of nuclear matter over those obtained with standard two-nucleon potentials, this three-nucleon potential provides extra repulsion in the A = 3,4 systems, which shifts the binding energies calculated from two-nucleon potentials alone further away from the measured values.
