EPR spectroscopy Ca3 Ga2 Ge4O14:Cr single crystals
Description
The EPR spectrum of Ca3 Ga2 Ge4O14:Cr single crystals doped by chromium ions is investigated. It is shown that chromium ions incorporate into octahedral 1a-positions of the Ca3 Ga2 Ge4O14:Cr structure in the trivalent state. Magnetic axes are found and constants of the spin Hamiltonian are estimated. The influence of the disordering of the matrix structure on the EPR spectrum of impurity Cr3+ ions is discussed
