Macroscopic mass and energy balance for nuclear plant diagnostics using fuzzy logic
Creators
- 1. Dept. of Nuclear Engineering, Univ. of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI (USA)
Description
This paper presents a method for computer-assisted nuclear power plant failure diagnostics. The method is based on the analysis of macroscopic mass and energy balances in thermal hydraulic control volumes using fuzzy logic. The method is intended to provide assistance to operators during unanticipated transient conditions
