Description
The dosimeters are used to quantify the dose that the occupationally exposed individual receives during their period of activities. The extremity dosimeter has the purpose of quantifying the dose in a specific region of the body, the hands. For a device to be used as a dosimeter, it must undergo some calibration/characterization tests, including the linearity test, where the dosimeter will receive several recommended dose ranges and must present a linear pattern in relation to the doses used. The irradiations were performed in the quantity Hp(0.07) using a rod phantom, the Hp(0.07) is an operational quality established for individual external monitoring, with 0.07 being the adopted depth. With the objective of evaluating the TL response as a function of the dose, applying the LiF:Mg, Ti dosimeters. (author)
