Transitions from the samarium structure to hexagonal structures

Description

The aims of the author are (1) to point out that magnetic measurements provide indications of the specific hexagonal structure found at high temperatures in both samarium and light rare earth-heavy rare earth alloys with the samarium structure and (2) to indicate a type of T-p phase diagram for samarium that is in accord with all the experimental information and preserves the general pattern of structural sequences.
