Description
Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the spectrum measured by NaI (Tl) gamma spectrometer for the field spectrometer calibration, and the response coefficients of the NaI (Tl) gamma spectrometer is calculated. By comparing the calculation results with the experimental results, the possibility of using Monte Carlo method for field NaI (Tl) gamma spectrometer calibration is studied. The result shows that the difference of response coefficients between simulation results and experimental results is less than 12% when the energy resolution of spectrometer for Cs-137 is varied within 8-14%.
